Based in Birmingham, Little Echoes offers music and movement classes for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, rooted in the award-winning Kindermusik curriculum. These sessions are so much more than just singing songs; they are joyful, developmentally-rich experiences designed to nurture children’s brains, bodies, and hearts through music, play, and connection.
Each class is paced to suit little ones and built around the rhythms of real family life. Whether it’s your first time attending a class or you’ve been to many, you’ll find a warm welcome, thoughtful routines, and plenty of meaningful moments for you and your child to enjoy together.
Kindermusik is the world’s leading early childhood music and movement programme. Developed by educators and child development specialists, it uses music, rhythm, movement, and storytelling to support early learning across multiple areas - including language, coordination, emotional regulation, and social connection.
There’s no expectation to “perform” or join in a certain way. Children are encouraged to participate in the way that feels right for them, and grown-ups are invited to relax, follow their child’s lead, and enjoy quality time together.
Hi, I’m Phoebe, the heart behind Little Echoes. I’m a music educator, doula, breastfeeding counsellor, and award-winning graduate in early childhood and family studies. I also hold a Foundation Degree in Birth and Beyond with the NCT and University of Worcester.
My journey with Kindermusik began not as a teacher, but as a parent. I attended classes with my daughter when she was a baby, and we both fell in love with the joy, connection, and meaningful learning experiences it brought. While I was training and then teaching, she followed the full Kindermusik programme right alongside me.
Since 2021, I’ve facilitated Kindermusik classes at a thriving studio, supporting hundreds of families. Now, I’m bringing that same warmth and experience into a space of my own. As a fully accredited Kindermusik educator and a neurodivergent parent, I’m passionate about creating inclusive, child-led, and connection-focused classes where every family feels truly welcome.
The Kindermusik curriculum is thoughtfully designed to support children from birth to age five, with each class and level building on the last to meet the changing needs of developing minds and bodies.
Classes are grouped into 4-week thematic units, each offering a rich mix of music, movement, sensory play, and storytelling - all grounded in child development research. This structure gives families consistency and rhythm, while keeping sessions fresh and engaging. Each new unit brings new songs, activities, and opportunities for connection.
For babies and young toddlers (Foundations and Level 1), the focus is on bonding, early communication, sensory exploration, and building secure attachment. As children grow (Levels 2–4), the programme gradually introduces more independence, pretend play, musical concepts, and social skills - all in a nurturing, pressure-free environment.
Whether you’re joining with a newborn or a preschooler, the curriculum adapts to meet your child where they are and supports them as they grow.
