Frequently Asked Questions

Enrolment at Little Echoes is ongoing. Classes run continuously throughout the year in 4-week themed units, 12 units per year, with short breaks over Christmas and summer.

Each unit introduces new songs, stories, and activities tailored to your child’s age and stage of development. You don’t need to wait for a new term to join - families can enrol at any time, and your fee will be prorated if you start mid-unit. This rolling structure offers consistency for your child, which is key for learning and engagement.

Classes are priced at £46 per month, which covers:

  • Weekly in-person classes
  • Access to the Kindermusik app with music, stories, and activities from your child’s current unit
  • All class materials and instrument use
  • Ongoing support from a fully accredited educator

Fees are spread evenly across the year, regardless of breaks. You pay the same amount each month for simplicity.

Yep! Families enrolling more than one child receive the following discounts:

  • £10 off per sibling per month
  • Babies under 6 months attending with an older sibling are welcome to come along for free until they are ready to participate fully in their own class, by which point a class fee will occur.

If you’re unsure which class best suits your children or need help scheduling, just get in touch - I’m happy to help find the right fit.

Kindermusik classes are designed as a progressive, ongoing experience. Knowing that children thrive on consistency and routine, the curriculum is built in 4-week units that gently build skills over time.

We want every child to feel safe, confident, and part of the group. For these reasons, drop-ins aren’t available, but you are welcome to book a £9 trial class to get a feel for classes before enrolling.

Not at all! You don’t need to sing in tune or have any musical experience to enjoy Little Echoes.

Research shows that singing to your baby or young child supports brain development, bonding, emotional regulation and language skills. Your voice is the one they love most.

There’s no right or wrong way to join in. You’ll be gently guided through each activity with no pressure or performance, just simple and joyful ways to connect through music.

Yes! In Foundations, Level 1, and Level 2, grown-ups actively participate alongside their child. These classes are designed to support connection, modelling, and shared discovery. Your presence really matters.

Levels 3 and 4 (coming soon) include a 30-minute child-only session, followed by 15 minutes of "sharing time" where grown-ups join in to celebrate and reconnect.

At Little Echoes, you’re not just signing up for a class, you’re joining a carefully crafted experience that supports both your child’s development and your relationship with them.

  • We use Kindermusik, a globally respected, research-backed programme designed to nurture early communication, motor skills, musicality, and emotional confidence.
  • Each session is led by a qualified early years and music educator who understands how young children learn - through rhythm, repetition, sensory play, and secure relationships.
  • You’ll find beautiful props, real instruments, calm routines, and joyful moments your child can carry with them long after the class ends.
  • Group sizes are intentionally small so that every child - and every adult - feels seen, supported, and welcome.

Many families say Little Echoes becomes a grounding part of their week. The songs, rituals, and connections we share ripple into everyday life - from nappy changes and car journeys to bedtime and beyond.

We price our sessions to reflect the quality, training, time, and intention behind them, creating something far richer than a drop-in class.

Yes! The Hub Hazelwell has its own car park. There’s usually plenty of space, but we always recommend arriving a few minutes early just in case it’s busy

Classes are intentionally small, with a maximum of 12 children*. This allows space for movement, individual attention, and a calmer group dynamic. Smaller class sizes help every child feel safe, seen, and supported.

*Levels 3 and 4 are limited to 8 children per class

To keep class sizes manageable and the space comfortable for all, we ask that only one adult attends per child, unless otherwise arranged in advance.

If you’d like to bring a second adult (maybe Granny is in town, or someone has an unexpected day off work), please just let me know in advance - I’ll always do my best to accommodate where possible!

Children (and their grown-up!) should attend class in comfortable clothes they can move freely in*. We are a no shoes zone and require bare feet or grippy socks - this supports healthy sensory development, balance, and coordination, while also helping prevent slips.

*Whilst this a recommendation, we understand that some times you just have to don your fanciest princess dress or fire fighter costume! Comfortable and happy is key!

That’s absolutely okay! Children engage in all kinds of different ways. Some will dive right in, others prefer to observe quietly before participating.

All forms of engagement are welcome, and contribute to learning, and we never pressure children to perform or behave a certain way.

Consistency is key, and over time, most children naturally find their rhythm in class.

Yes. Little Echoes is an inclusive, affirming space. Classes are designed to be flexible, with opportunities for different types of engagement. If your child has specific needs or you’d like to talk through any concerns, I’m always happy to chat in advance and make sure you feel supported.

No problem at all - music is a universal language! Children and grownups alike will pick up songs, rhythms, and actions naturally, even if they’re new to English. I’ll always model what to do, and you’re welcome to join in however feels comfortable. It’s a welcoming space where we all learn together.
